It is meant to enable an ongoing exchange of expertise and knowledge on the topic of Foster Care in Latin America and the world. This study provides new input into the debate and practice of Foster Care. It extracts lessons from countries which represent different kinds of economic and social development. Material is included on Foster Care experiences in developing countries, which tends to be informal and undocumented. The IFCO Informer

Our prestigious magazine is filled with Foster Care news from all over the world. Apart from news about upcoming events it also provides an opportunity for members to share the developments in their country with an international public and to publish recent research in Foster Care. Every edition is full with news about projects and insights in what is happening in Foster Care around the world. We are working hard on a shiny new website!

IFCO members spoke and we listened. We are currently building a new website that will be more user friendly for IFCO members and the international foster care community.

Our new website will be ready early in 2019. In the meantime you can still join, connect, learn and share at the current IFCO website. Don’t forget that you can also hang out with us on Facebook or keep up to date via Twitter
